Motorway A1 (del Sole)
driving north from Rome or south from Florence, take the exit marked Valdichiana and follow Perugia signs that will take you onto the Superstrada (dual-carriageway) Siena – Perugia.
There are three routes from the dual carriageway to Cortona:
1. over Manzano, 2. over Laurentana, and 3. over the S.S. 71 Via S.S. 71 (Strada Statale71) direction Cortona & Citta di Castello will bring you to Camucia situated below Cortona.

Station FS di Terontola-Cortona (194 Km’s from Rome, 122 Km’s from Florence).
Station FS di Camucia-Cortona
Express & Intercity usually halt at Terontola approx. 11 Km’s from Cortona.
Local trains halt in Arezzo approx. 30 Km’s from Cortona.
Bus connections exist to Cortona from both Terontola ( 11 Km’s) and Camucia (5 Km’s).
